Coach Carter is a 2005 American film directed by Thomas Carter. It is based on a true story, in which Richmond High School basketball coach Ken Carter (no relation) made headlines in 1999 for benching his MVP and undefeated team due to poor academic results. Channing Tatum has appeared as Jason Lyle  in the movie.

Havoc is a 2005 American film about the lives of wealthy Los Angeles, California teenagers whose exposure to hip hop culture inspires them to imitate thegangster lifestyle. She's the Man is a 2006 American romantic comedy film directed by Andy Fickman, based on Twelfth Night, a play by William Shakespeare.The film centers around teenager Viola Hastings who enters her brother's school in his place, pretending to be male, in order to play with the boys' soccer team.The film stars Amanda Bynes, Channing Tatum, Laura Ramsey and Vinnie Jones.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is a 2009 science fiction-action film based on the G.I. Joe toy franchise, with particular inspiration from the comic book and cartoon series G.I. The Eagle is a 2011 historical epic film directed by Kevin Macdonald, and starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell, and Donald Sutherland. Adapted by Jeremy Brock from Rosemary Sutcliff's historical adventure novel The Eagle of the Ninth (1954), the film tells the story of a young Roman officer searching to recover the lost Roman eagle standard of his father's legion in the northern part of Great Britain. The story is based on the Ninth Spanish Legion's supposed disappearance in Britain.
